Community Provision in South Kilburn
South Kilburn is an area undergoing regeneration under the guidance of South Kilburn New Deal for Communities. As part of this programme there was an opportunity to determine the community needs for sport and leisure facilities. We undertook a comprehensive community audit which involved workshops, focus groups, street surveys in several languages, online questionnaires and desktop research. The end result was that a new leisure centre was not needed in the area, but smaller scale more localised provision was.
