CLERKS TO GOVERNING BODIES

Due to our successful expansion programme we are seeking clerks to join our team working across Northamptonshire and Leicestershire.  

We offer training, a competitive rate of pay, and travel expenses for home-based clerks/personal assistants with knowledge of the education environment.  The number of meetings varies across schools (from 1 to 6 per term), you will also be given the option to pick up further meetings for absent colleagues. Meetings generally take place in the evenings at schools and usually last up to 3 hours. 

 

  The role is to:

• Provide advice to Governing Boards on governance, constitutional and procedural matters.

• Provide effective administrative support to the governing body and its committees.

• Ensure the governing body is properly constituted.

• Manage information in accordance with legal requirements.
